“All that talking is thirsty work”

The blog is back.  And not  just the blog but a brand new website too.

The website’s main purpose is to showcase the club and TMI, attract visitors to the club and convert them into members.

The blog’s purpose is to update the members on news and events and show visitors that we are an active, vibrant club.

The pages on the website won’t change very much although I still have a couple of pages to add but the blog will be updated regularly.

I don’t want to do all the talking so I would like  members to contribute their news.

For example, stories about your achievements, your news, interesting or major events that have taken place in your life, how has Toastmasters helped you at work or in a social situation. Good quality photos are always welcome too.

Send me short posts (about 500 words) on any topic as long as it has some connection to communication, leadership or Toastmasters, won’t offend other members and is interesting and/or entertaining. If you are not sure if it is suitable contact me first.

I hope the blog will become the club’s news centre and it’s here that you will find out about events, awards, social occasions, contests and anything else that members need to know.

Apart from news, I hope to publish posts on communication and leadership skills, sometimes with links to other blogs, articles and videos.  If I think it would be of interst to our members or help them on their Toastmaster journey, I will post it here.

Underneath every blog post, there is a comments box. Please take a moment to write a few words.
